help us deliver our purpose: changing lives through transforming health and care The pride of working for an organisation committed to the highest clinical and quality standards About the Role HCRG Care Groups Warwickshire School Nursing Service is looking to support the future of School Nursing by offering the Specialist Community Public Health Nursing (SCPHN) School Nurse programme to passionate registered Nurses and Midwives who want to develop their careers in public health., As a SCPHN School Nurse Student, you will gain specialist knowledge and practical experience in promoting the health and wellbeing of school-aged children, young people and their families across community settings. You will join our team on a full-time, fixed-term 12-month Band 5 contract. Upon successful completion of the programme, you will be qualified as a Specialist Community Public Health Nurse (School Nurse) and will be eligible to apply for Band 6 School Nurse positions. The programme is a one-year full-time course, combining 50% academic study and 50% supervised practice. You will develop skills to assess and identify health needs, deliver evidence-based interventions, and safeguard children and young people, working collaboratively with schools, families, and partner agencies.
