School Caretaker

The role will entail ensuring that security and general maintenance is up to required standards throughout the school site working normal working hours from 7am to 10am. Start date mid-August. Responsibilities will include

• Opening the school site when required
• Carrying out routine maintenance, minor repairs and general DIY tasks
• Ensuring the cleanliness and tidiness of school grounds
• Supporting with setting up rooms and spaces for activities and events, This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (2013 and 2020). This means that certain convictions and cautions are considered 'protected' and do not need to be disclosed to employers, and if they are disclosed, employers cannot take them into account.
