School Caretaker | Grade 3; £25,583 to £25,989 FTE | St Helens Catholic Primary School


Based at St Helens Catholic Primary School, Hoyland, on a Federation Contract


Permanent - Working 20 hours per week, all year round (7-9am & 4:15-6:15pm)


Grade 3; £25,583 to £25,989 FTE (actual salary £13,828 to £14,048) pay award pending


The Governing Body of Corpus Christi Federation wishes to appoint an excellent practitioner to join our dedicated facilities team. If you are passionate about ensuring our children are taught in the best educational surroundings and you are excited by new challenges, ready to share innovative ideas and work alongside a strong premises team, then a fantastic opportunity awaits you at our federation.


We require an adaptable, experienced, enthusiastic and highly motivated caretaker. Good communication skills are essential for this post, as is a willingness to work flexibly and positively at all times. You will be required to:



  • Keep detailed work records

  • Be forward thinking, innovative and prepared to think outside of the box

  • Actively develop positive relationships with all stakeholders

  • Have good DIY skills to effectively manage onsite repairs and maintenance

  • Be willing to undertake further training where relevant to the post
