We are seeking an organised, proactive and compassionate Attendance & Pastoral Administrator to join our Senior School team. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly organised professional who is passionate about supporting young people and ensuring that every student feels safe, supported and fully engaged in school life. Working closely with the Deputy Head Pastoral and wider pastoral leadership team, the successful candidate will play a vital role in monitoring and maintaining accurate attendance records, supporting safeguarding procedures and helping to promote excellent attendance across the Senior School. As the first point of contact for many attendance matters, you will build positive relationships with students, families and staff while ensuring that attendance procedures are managed efficiently, sensitively and in line with statutory requirements. The role also includes supporting the wider Senior School Office and providing reception and administrative cover when required. We are looking for someone who thrives in a busy school environment and enjoys working collaboratively as part of a dedicated and supportive team., Haberdashers' Girls' School would like all candidates to answer specific questions for the personal statement section.   • Demonstrates outstanding attention to detail and accuracy
  • Can communicate confidently and professionally with students, parents and colleagues

  • Works calmly and effectively under pressure
  • Has strong IT skills and experience working with databases or management information systems
  • Is able to build positive relationships while supporting and challenging where appropriate
  • Understands the importance of safeguarding and student welfare
  • Is keen to contribute to the wider life of a busy and ambitious school community
  • Previous experience working within a school environment or attendance-related role would be advantageous, although not essential.

    Hours: 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday from 8.00am - 3.00pm, including a 1 hour lunch break. Flexibility may occasionally be required to support the needs of the school.
