Full Job Description

An exciting opportunity is available for a Sales Manager role within Peripheral Intervention team, covering the South of England in the Peripheral Vascular business. The candidate will be responsible for driving revenue and profitable growth across key strategic platforms in the Peripheral Vascular business, including End-Stage Kidney Disease, Peripheral Vascular Disease, and Venous Disease. They will lead a team of Sales Specialists and Therapy Development Specialists to position BD as the partner of choice in vascular treatment and care. Our vision for BD Interventional at BD BD Interventional (BDI) focus on leading innovation and life-enhancing devices in the field of surgical, endovascular, urological and critical care interventions aiming at advancing the treatment of high burden diseases and enabling surgical and interventional procedures.,

  • Drive sales of new products and achieve revenue targets.
  • Lead, manage, and coach a team of Sales Specialists and Therapy Development Specialists.
  • Implement divisional strategies, aligning sales initiatives with market trends and new product opportunities.
  • Oversee attendance at strategically important UK-based trade exhibitions.
  • Promote the adoption of modern business technologies and tools to enhance team performance.
  • Manage operating expenditure with an understanding of the platform's P&L.
  • Conduct forecasting, budgeting, and target setting for the sales team.
  • Perform regular business reviews, providing coaching and feedback to optimise performance.
  • Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including key opinion leaders, educational bodies, and colleagues within the UK and Europe.
  • Develop strategic customer partnerships in collaboration with BD's strategic business teams.

    Proven experience in medical device sales.
  • Proven success in sales management or leadership roles.
  • Comfortable working in operating theatres and interventional radiology environments.
  • Experience with tenders, NHS operations, budgeting, forecasting, and sales analysis.
  • Excellent communication, networking, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and equipped with a valid driver's licence and clean driving record., Ambitious
