Full Job Description

We're looking for a Retail Team Member to welcome visitors to the National Trust shop at Beatrix Potters Hill Top, to answer their questions and help them make the most of their day.

As a member of the retail team, you'll be offering visitors help and advice with their shopping. You'll have high standards of presentation in the shop while providing excellent service to all customers.

You'll also be able to talk to them about how everything they buy helps to fund the work of the National Trust. Other duties may include arranging, receiving and unpacking deliveries, creating shop displays and working with others in the team to keep the shop floor clean and organised.

Salary: £11.50 per hour and will increase in line with changes to living wage in April 2025

Duration: Fixed Term Contract until the 14th of November 2025, starting date from February 2025.

Hours: 22.5 hours per week across 3 days one of which will be a weekend day.

Interview date: 30th January 2025
