Relief Security Officer

We are looking for a reliable and professional Relief Security Officer to join our team in Rochester.
What Does a Security Officer Do?
Security Officers play a vital role in protecting people, property, and information. They act as a visual deterrent, prevent unauthorized access, monitor for suspicious activity, and respond to incidents and emergencies. This position helps ensure the safety and security of premises 24/7., Patrol and monitor premises to deter and detect security breaches
Manage access control and verify ID for staff, visitors, and contractors
Respond quickly to alarms and emergencies in a calm, effective manner
Maintain detailed logs and incident reports
Conduct regular internal and external security checks
Operate CCTV and other monitoring equipment
Enforce site-specific procedures and health & safety regulations
Support protection of classified materials and sensitive infrastructure
Liaise with emergency services and site management as needed

Must be a British citizen by birth, or have held a British passport for at least 5 years
Hold a valid SIA licence
Must be able to obtain SC (Security Clearance)
5-year checkable work history is required
Flexible to work days, nights, and weekends
This position is subject to enhanced background checks and government security vetting.
