About the RoleAs a Relief Security Officer, you'll provide a professional and visible security presence across multiple DWP sites, helping to protect staff, visitors, property and assets while maintaining the highest standards of service.

You'll be trusted to step into different environments at short notice, respond confidently to incidents and ensure all site procedures and Assignment Instructions are followed at all times.

This role offers genuine variety, making it ideal for someone who enjoys staying active, adaptable and engaged.

What We're Looking ForEssential:
-Valid SIA Licence

-Full UK driving licence

-Access to your own vehicle

-Flexibility to work day shifts Monday to Saturday

-Previous security experience

-Professional, calm and confident approach

-Strong communication and customer service skills

SC Clearance is desirable but not essential.

You'll also need a positive attitude towards ongoing training, development and maintaining licence renewals.

What You'll Be Doing
-Delivering professional security services across multiple DWP sites

-Maintaining a safe and secure environment for staff and visitors

-Responding effectively to incidents, emergencies and suspicious activity

-Carrying out patrols and monitoring for potential risks

-Completing incident reports, logbooks and check calls accurately

-Reporting Health & Safety concerns promptly

-Using security systems and technology confidently

-Remaining calm, professional and proactive under pressure
