Are you looking for an opportunity to fully utilise your skills and experience as an RMN, in a role where you will be encouraged and supported to develop further? Would you like the opportunity to work closely with your patients, helping them identify and reach their goals, whilst keeping them safe and supporting them onwards to a new life in the community? If so, this role could be right for you. Working closely with nursing, medical, psychology and occupational therapy team members, you will be key to the rehabilitation of your patients.
Thames House is a 26 bedded low secure unit for women with a diagnosis of mental illness and/or personality disorder. Many of our service users have had experience of the criminal justice system in the past. The unit is split into a 10 bedded high dependency unit and a 16 bed lower dependency unit. This post attracts a RSU Lead of £1,446 per annum on top of your annual salary. In addition to delivering nursing care, you will be actively encouraged to organise patient activities, attend therapy sessions with your patients and escort them on therapeutic leave, supporting them to reintegrate into the community and aid their recovery journey. Working closely and in a supportive way with your colleagues as a team, you will ensure the needs and care of the patients in your unit is at the forefront of everything you do.
