Full Job Description
Lynn Grove Academy are seeking a friendly, reliable, and hardworking Regional Groundsperson who takes real pride in keeping outdoor spaces looking their best. You'll have some experience in grounds or maintenance work and feel confident using equipment safely. You're someone who enjoys working outdoors, whatever the weather, and can adapt to different tasks and working hours when needed. With a keen eye for detail and a positive, team-focused attitude, you'll help create a safe, tidy, and welcoming environment for our students and staff. Most importantly, you'll share our commitment to providing a supportive, inclusive school environment and reflect the values of the Creative Education Trust in everything you do. Our Ideal candidate will have:
- Good English and Maths skills, preferably to GCSE Grade 3 minimum or equivalent
- Experience working in a maintenance or grounds environment
- Good understanding and experience of health and safety in the workplace
- Ability to cope with a diverse range of duties and responsibilities
Our Grounds and Estates Team plays a vital role in keeping our school sites safe, welcoming, and looking their best. The team carries out a wide variety of hands-on work, including grass cutting, line marking sports pitches, and maintaining outdoor spaces to a high standard across multiple sites. They take real pride in what they do-working together to continually improve the appearance and quality of our grounds. Their work helps create an environment where students and staff can feel comfortable, safe, and inspired, making a positive difference to the day-to-day experience of everyone at our academies.
