We are seeking a Reading Intervention & Wellbeing Co-ordinator who will play a vital role in shaping a positive, inclusive, and supportive environment for both students and staff. Please note this role will be supporting both Parkside House School sites; Backworth NE27 0AB & Ashington NE63 8AP What You'll Do

• Deliver engaging reading interventions that build fluency, comprehension, and vocabulary.
• Support students with SEND, SEMH, and additional needs to thrive.
• Promote a positive reading culture and adapt resources to engage diverse learners.
• Lead wellbeing initiatives for students and staff, acting as a wellbeing ambassador across sites.
• Collaborate with staff and external partners to create an inclusive, supportive environment.
• Monitor progress and wellbeing data to inform practice and improve provision.
• Signpost staff to appropriate support services and contribute to whole-school wellbeing pathways.
  
  GCSE's or equivalent required
• Is passionate about literacy and wellbeing.
• Has experience supporting students with diverse needs.
• Communicates with warmth, clarity, and confidence.
• Can build strong relationships with students, staff, and external partners.
• Brings creativity and enthusiasm to intervention and wellbeing work.
• Driving licence required
