Radiographer

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and motivated individual to join the team of Radiographers at Hywel Dda University Health Board. Glangwilli Hospital will be the main base but there may be a requirement to assist in Cardigan Intergrated Care Centre. The department offers a supportive and encouraging environment in which to develop as a professional. Each hospital has modern equipment and newly refurbished working areas., This is a varied and exciting post; as a Radiographer you will be working within the general radiography department and will gain experience in outpatient, inpatient, portable, theatre and fluoroscopy. You will be given a training/competency preceptorship plan and will be fully supported to become trained in all the general radiography areas. The appointment will be 37.5 hours per week including long days, evening, nights, weekends and bank holidays shifts.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.

Hywel Dda University Health Board plans and provides NHS healthcare services for people living in Carmarthenshire, Ceredigion, Pembrokeshire, and bordering counties. We have over 13,000 staff and together we provide primary, community, in-hospital, mental health and learning disabilities services. We work in partnership with the three local authorities, as well as public, private and third sector colleagues, including our valued team of volunteers. Our services are provided in:

• 47 general practices (six of which are health board managed practices); dental practices (including four orthodontic); 97 community pharmacies; 43 general ophthalmic practices; and 8 ophthalmic domiciliary providers
• Numerous mental health and learning disabilities services
