Full Job Description
The successful Director will be responsible for the leadership of the Cambridgeshire office:
- Strategic Leadership: Oversee teams executing the delivery of flagship projects ranging from 20m to 50m, ensuring excellence from initial feasibility through to final handover.
- Team Management: Act as a mentor and leader to a dedicated team, fostering professional development and managing resource allocation.
- Commercial Mastery: Provide expert-level management to teams undertaking cost planning, pre-contract tendering, and contract administration
- Client Advocacy: Maintain and expand relationships with a "Blue Chip" client base, ensuring the consultancy remains the partner of choice for regional developments.

Our client is looking for a leader with a proven track record working for a chartered quantity surveying practice or multi-disciplinary consultancy: - Experience: c10+ years of post-qualification experience within Quantity Surveying.
- Professional Status: MRICS Chartered Surveyor is essential.
- Leadership: Proven experience managing teams and departmental budgets.
- Business Development: A natural ability to maintain professional networks and convert relationships into long-term partnerships.
- Background: Currently operating as an Associate, Associate Director, Director, or Head of QS looking for the autonomy of an Office Lead position. Qualifications: BSc or MSc in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management or Building Surveying. MRICS essential.
