Full Job Description

The Quality & Governance Lead Nurse (Band 7) role is a new role designed to ensure we have a central approach to compliance with robust governance processes that assures us of the responsiveness of our service. The post holder will promote shared learning and quality initiatives, demonstrating we are a well led organisation, lead improvements in clinical practice, and reduce risk.,

  • To support the provision of assurance that our services are compliant, safe and delivering high-quality care to our children, young people and their families.

  • The post holder will work closely with staff at all levels within the organisation, as delegated by the Hospice Manager, to ensure compliance with robust governance processes that assures us of the responsiveness of our services.

  • The post holder will promote shared learning and quality initiatives and facilitate their embedding and sustainability to demonstrate we are a well led organisation, lead improvements in clinical practice and reduce risk.

  • The post holder will build close working relationships to support a positive safety culture and work with other professionals and relevant organisations to proactively manage governance, quality, and safety.

    We are looking for an experienced nurse who has previous knowledge and experience working in Quality, Governance and Risk. This is a senior clinical role in which the post holder will ensure our compliance, identifying areas for development, growth, or change. This role will work with staff across all care and family services and will be the designated lead for Infection Prevention and Control.
