Full Job Description

Here at GXO, we are looking for a full-time, permanent H&S Coordinator to join our team based in Bradford. Working on our M&S contract you'll be responsible for all things health and safety, to create a safe and supportive workplace environment where people can thrive.,

  • Work with the operational departments in the creation and reviewing of risk assessments and associated documentation

  • Ensure that suitable and sufficient training is provided and maintained so that the site can manage QHSE issues on a day-to-day basis

  • Liaise with site QHSE representatives to ensure the design and running of 'Road to Zero' site Health & Safety campaigns are engaging at all levels and fun

  • Advise and assist where required with all ongoing investigations into accidents, incidents and near misses, identifying root causes and ensuring all actions are completed in the site's agreed SLA timings

  • Experience of assisting with the production of risk assessments and associated documents

  • Confidence in engaging with colleagues at all levels, as well as the ability to build strong working relationships with senior management and customers alike

  • NEBOSH General Certificate is highly desirable
