MED186325INTERNAL - This vacancy is open to employees of the University of Nottingham only.An exciting opportunity has arisen for a project manager to join the MindTech Digital Mental Health Research Group within the School of Medicine to work on the NIHR i4i (Invention for Innovation) Product Development Award grant: 'RECOGNeyes for Schools. This research has been funded to translate an evidence-based computerised cognitive training game for young people with ADHD (Attention Deficient Hyperactivity Disorder) into a market-ready product that can be delivered in schools. The project is a partnership between the University of Nottingham and King's College London, and involves collaborators from across education and industry, as well as people with lived experience of ADHD.The purpose of this role is to provide co-ordination and day-to-management of this project to ensure successful delivery. You will work closely with the Principal Investigator (Dr Elizabeth Liddle) to contribute to the

strategic, operational and budgetary planning of all activities, as well as supporting the work package leads. You will also be responsible for recruiting primary and secondary schools, coordinating their involvement in the study, and being their first point of contact.We are looking for a dynamic and effective individual, with the ability to risk assess and prioritise competing demands and to present informed recommendations to project leads and stakeholders together with the ability to implement recommendations. Candidates must have experience of research project management as well as excellent interpersonal skills. Experience of research with children and young people in a health or educational area is essential. The role is suited to candidates who have worked in research roles and are looking to move into research project management.This role will involve some contact with young people and their families and therefore the post holder will be required to obtain satisfactory

£35,116 to £46,735 per annum pro-rata depending on skills and experience.
