Full Job Description
We are seeking a Process Improvement Specialist to lead the analysis, design, and implementation of process improvement initiatives that enhance operational performance and customer outcomes.
This role brings deep process expertise to identify inefficiencies, standardise ways of working, and embed sustainable improvements aligned to strategic business priorities and customer delivery requirements., We are looking for someone who will work closely with stakeholders and process experts to assess current-state processes, design future-state solutions, and implement change across people, process, and technology to improve efficiency, quality, and control across the organisation., Lead end-to-end process improvement initiatives from discovery through implementation and embedding, delivering measurable improvements in efficiency, quality, and customer outcomes.
Analyse, map, and redesign end-to-end business processes using as-is and to-be assessments, root cause analysis, and process diagnostics.
Identify bottlenecks, control gaps, and performance variation, recommending opportunities for simplification, standardisation, automation, and waste reduction.
Design practical, scalable, and compliant future-state processes, operating models, standards, and operating procedures aligned to business requirements.
Engage, influence, and align senior stakeholders and operational teams, facilitating workshops to co-design solutions and drive buy-in.
Implement and embed new ways of working, working closely with Change and Communications teams to ensure adoption and sustainability.
Use data, KPIs, and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g. Lean, Six Sigma) to identify improvement opportunities and deliver measurable business benefits.
Define, track, and report KPIs, maintaining process governance, documentation standards, and controls to support ongoing performance and continuous improvement.
Strong process improvement expertise, including Lean / Six Sigma methodologies.
Demonstrable experience delivering process improvement initiatives in complex, customer-focused environments.
Excellent process mapping, analysis, and problem-solving skills.
Strong stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills at all levels, including senior leadership.
Advanced Excel skills with experience in KPI tracking and benefits measurement.
Strong proficiency in process mapping tools such as Visio (BPMN experience beneficial).
Ability to lead change, facilitate workshops, and drive sustainable improvements across teams.
Lean / Six Sigma qualification (Green Belt or higher, or equivalent).
Relevant qualification in Process Improvement, Business Analysis, or Operational Excellence (desirable), Disability Confident
