Principal Clinical Psychologist

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and enthusiastic Clinical Psychologist to take on an important part-time leadership role within our Cancer and Palliative Care Psychology Service.

This role will appeal to you if you have a keen interest in embedding psychological knowledge and skills across the healthcare system, for the benefit of our key stakeholders, alongside working directly with our service users. There are strong connections to the health board's health psychology department, parallel psychology services across Wales, third sector organisations, and the North Wales Doctoral Clinical Psychology Training Course., In addition to providing psychological assessment and interventions, the post holder will work collaboratively with colleagues to foster equitable service access and quality improvements, and thereby support optimal service engagement and health care experiences for our service user populations. Leadership opportunities exist for service development, and consultation, teaching and support of colleagues. Continuing professional development, research activity and trainee support will also be encouraged.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
