Pre-School Deputy Manager - Rockwell Green C of E Primary School


Location: Somerset


Terms: Multiple Terms


Salary: Grade 14 Point 6: £13.47 per hour (£25,989 pro rata)


Required from: 1st December 2025 or as soon as possible.


We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, hard-working and dedicated individual to be our deputy manager in our nurturing and thriving school.


The post will be to have a leading role, working in partnership, with a skilled and passionate team to support pupils in our pre-school including those with special educational needs. You need to be patient, understanding and able to build positive relationships with children, motivating them to do their best, while establishing consistent boundaries. Excellent communication skills with experience and knowledge of the Early Years curriculum are vital for this post. Maths and English GCSEs (Grade A to C or equivalent) as well as a DFE approved early years and childcare level 2 or higher certification are essential for this post.


We will offer the successful candidate the support that comes with working in a Church of England school with a very positive and caring ethos. The school is committed to the continuing professional development of staff members and the successful candidate will benefit from this.
