Full Job Description

  • As a member of the pharmacy team your duties will include dispensing prescriptions, medicine management at ward level, stores/distribution and aseptic production.

    Have the equivalent of 9 to 4 or A to C pass at GCSE Level in English Language, Maths, Science plus 1 other subject pass.
    • Level 2 Dispensing Assistant Course along with Functional skills Level 2 in Maths and English., The Education provider reviews qualifications; submission of qualification certificates/ENIC statement of comparability are required before interview.,
  • Your rota will span across Charing Cross Hospital, Hammersmith Hospital and St Mary's Hospital so you must be able to travel to all sites.
  • You will also be required to work as part of the late duty and weekend / bank holiday team rotas.

The ability to cope with the discipline of studying and a commitment to completing course work in your own time and within deadline whilst working as part of a team within a busy department is essential.

    You will be paid at Band 3. Fixed term contract terminating 30/9/2028The course is challenging and requires studying in your own time so an aptitude to learning is required.
