Practice Nurse

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Practice Nurse to join our friendly and supportive team at Riverside Medical Practice. Serving a growing patient population of over 11,500 patients, we are committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centred care within a modern and welcoming practice environment.

The successful candidate will be experienced in cervical cytology and the independent management of chronic disease clinics, including diabetes, asthma, COPD and hypertension. We are looking for a compassionate and proactive nurse who enjoys working as part of a multidisciplinary team and is committed to providing excellent patient care., The successful candidate will provide a comprehensive range of Practice Nurse services, including the independent management of chronic disease clinics (diabetes, asthma, COPD and hypertension), cervical cytology, childhood and adult immunisations, travel vaccinations, wound care, ECGs, NHS Health Checks and health promotion activities. The role will involve working collaboratively with GPs and the wider multidisciplinary team, maintaining accurate clinical records using SystmOne and supporting the delivery of high-quality, patient-centred care to our growing patient population.

Full-time hours are preferred, although part-time applications will be considered for the right candidate. We offer a competitive salary (£18.00£25.00 per hour, depending on experience), NHS Pension Scheme, on-site parking and a supportive working environment.
