Full Job Description
We have an exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and innovative individual with excellent clinical skills and ED experience to join our nursing team in our busy Paediatric Emergency Department at Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Woolwich., To work collaboratively with the Nursing Development Managers and engage with the Corporate agenda with regards to Practice Development issues.
To work with senior nurses ie ward managers and matrons to ensure that Nursing Development processes are implemented within their clinical areas
To work with the Nursing Development Managers to ensure clinical practice within their Division is compliant with national guidance and standards ie NICE guidance
To be aware of themes and trends arising from clinical incidents and complaints and ensure these form part of the ongoing educational and nursing development programmes within their Division
To engage with the Transformational team with regards to practice development within their Division
To be aware of the quality and performance ie clinical indicators within their Divisions and support senior nurses with the implementation of quality initiatives, 1. Improving representation at senior levels of staff with disabilities, from black, Asian, and ethnic minorities background, identify as LGBTQ+ and women, through improved recruitment and leadership development
2. Widening access (anchor institution) and employability
3. Improving the experience of staff with disability
4. Improving the EDI literacy and confidence of trust staff through training and development
5. Making equalities mainstream
