Full Job Description
As our Pizza Chef, you will take full ownership of the pizza section. You'll be responsible for preparing fresh dough from scratch, stretching by hand (no rolling pins here!), topping with precision, and managing the oven during busy services. You will work alongside our kitchen team to maintain high standards of consistency, speed, and hygiene.,
- Prepare and manage pizza dough, ensuring perfect proofing and quality control.
- Stretch, top, and bake authentic pizzas efficiently, maintaining consistency even during peak rush hours.
- Keep the pizza station fully prepped, organised, and meticulously clean throughout service.
- Manage stock levels for your section, ensuring ingredients are fresh and minimise wastage.
- Strictly follow all food safety, allergen control, and health and hygiene regulations.
Proven experience working as a Pizza Chef in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen or pizzeria. - Expert knowledge of dough management and excellent hand-stretching techniques.
- Experience operating stone-baked or traditional deck ovens.
- Strong communication skills and a positive, collaborative team player attitude.
- Ability to work cleanly, calmly, and efficiently under intense pressure.
