J is an 11-year-old boy who keeps himself busy and is constantly on the go. He loves Mickey Mouse and enjoys playing with his toys, especially those that are interactive or light up. J is very intelligent and has a strong logical approach to understanding and working things out. J communicates using a limited vocabulary.

J has a diagnosis of Noonan Syndrome and is PEG-fed via a pump.

Hours and rate of pay hours Hourly rate of pay £15.00. Support hours to be used flexibly during the weekend, mainly a Saturday and the school holidays, with the occasional evening.

Location Meldreth, South Cambridgeshire area

DBS/Checks Confirmation of DBS check

Right to Work and references will be needed.


What you would be doing…


Support J around the home and help keep him engaged in activities he enjoys.

Provide support and assistance during mealtimes, as well as with personal care needs, including toileting and nappy changes. If support is provided in the evening, administering medication may be required.


Required skills and experience


Knowledge and experience with PEG and pump feeding is desirable.

We are looking for a soft, gentle, and patient individual with a bubbly personality and a kind, caring nature. Someone who is able to identify, understand, and manage changes in behaviour, and who is active and willing to engage in and/or support activities.

It is very important that you are reliable and have good timekeeping.
