Full time 37.5 hours a week, All year round

Grade 8 LAE PayScale Pt 29-32

Salary: £36,654 - £38,983

London Academy of Excellence (LAE) is embarking upon an exciting period of growth and transition into its new school premises for the cohort joining in September 2026. In preparation for this, LAE is seeking to expand its Pastoral team.

The successful candidate will be experienced in Pastoral Support or Safeguarding and will play a crucial role in supporting the emotional, social, and academic well-being of our students. The candidate will work collaboratively with colleagues, families and external professionals to support students learning and ensure every student makes outstanding progress through the provision of targeted support and intervention. The Pastoral Support service at LAE is award winning and recognised for its positive impact on students.

The LAE is one of the most successful sixth form schools in the country, consistently delivering outstanding A level results for all students, and is unrivalled in its commitment to recruiting scholars from less-advantaged backgrounds win places to the best universities in the UK and around the world.
