Full Job Description
We're looking for a friendly, organised and customer focused Receptionist to join our busy diagnostic and MSK service on a part-time basis. This is a key front-of-house role where you'll be the first point of contact for patients, helping to create a welcoming and professional environment from the moment they arrive. Working as part of a supportive administration team, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of clinics and delivering a high quality, patient-centred service. Working pattern (34.75 hours per week):
- Monday: 07:45 19:00 (10.75 hours)
- Tuesday Friday: 07:45 14:15 (6 hours per day) This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced healthcare environment and takes pride in delivering excellent customer service., As our receptionist, you will be:
- Welcoming patients and booking them in for diagnostic and MSK appointments.
- Managing telephone enquiries and responding to patient queries in a professional and timely manner.
- Preparing clinic lists and ensuring all paperwork is ready ahead of appointments.
- Scheduling appointments and supporting the smooth flow of clinics.
- Maintaining accurate data entry and administrative records
- Supporting the wider team with general administrative duties and providing cover where needed.
- Delivering a professional, respectful and patientfocused service at all times.
- Assisting with chaperoning duties during patient appointments when required.
With your previous experience in an administrative or customer service role, you will also have: - Excellent communication skills and a confident, friendly telephone manner.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage a busy workload.
- Good IT skills, including data entry and use of office systems.
- High attention to detail and a professional, confidential approach.
- Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
- A flexible and proactive attitude, with the ability to work in a fastpaced environment.
- Desirable: experience within a healthcare setting or knowledge of medical terminology., Applicants must have the right to work in the UK.
A full-time equivalent salary of £24,804 per annum - Work 34.75 hours per week
