The Childrens Occupational Therapy Team are community based and work in a variety of settings including health centres, mainstream and Special Educational Needs schools, nurseries, and childrens own homes. They work with children from birth up to the age of 19 years who have a range of physical and developmental conditions, complex needs, and functional difficulties impacting on daily activities., You will be required to undertake Mandatory and service specific training and be involved in training and supervision of staff as required. You will need to work flexibly across the community setting. You will receive regular support and supervision and be required to participate in ongoing service development and progression. It is essential the post holder is a driver with access to a vehicle for work purposes, subject to provision of the Equality Act 2010.

The Warrington Occupational Therapy Team are looking for a new band 6 Therapist who has a passion for working with children and young adults across a variety of settings. You will be part of an experienced team who provide assessment, advice and intervention to support children and young people to develop their skills in everyday activities. We encourage applicants with experience of working in a paediatric setting or those who work with adults with physical, developmental conditions or complex needs., An enthusiastic, motivated and experienced Occupational Therapist who is registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). To provide a high standard of Occupational Therapy to children and young people in Warrington. An individual who already has paediatric experience or has an interest in Paediatric care and a willingness to develop their skills in this area. An individual who can hold their own caseload. You will need to be a team player and work collaboratively as part of an integrated therapy team.
