Full Job Description

Stunning seascapes and a wealth of wildlife are waiting to greet you at Marloes Peninsula. The Marloes Peninsula combines dramatic coastal scenery and safe bathing on golden sands. You can look out for seabirds and seals and the remains of ancient peoples. Reporting to the Welcome Manager, you'll be a part of a team of staff working in Marloes Sands and Martin's Haven car parks.

What you'll be doing
Day to day, you'll deliver a great all-round customer service experience. As an Outdoor Welcome Assistant, you'll be responsible for answering queries and making sure visitors can find everything they need for their visit, whilst helping them park up in our car park. Your role is to make sure our visitors have the best day they can. Great visitor experiences are in our nature, and we believe everyone should feel welcomed, appreciated and more engaged because of the excellent service you provide. This role would suit anyone with a passion for delivering great customer service.

Understanding how and why we engage our supporters is key. You'll deliver high standards of presentation at the property, and ensure all our communications with our visitors are clear and consistent, from the first click on the website, to the posters and signs around the property. Motivated by achieving targets, you'll actively promote ways to support the Trust such as promoting membership and all it's benefits to visitors.

Salary: £11.64 per hour (this will increase in April with living wage increase)

Hours: A typical working day is 8am to 3pm. Weekend and Bank Holiday working expected. Hours will vary throughout season with 300 hours working out at an average of 1.5 days a week from March to September (some weeks you may work 4-5 days a week, others you may work 1 day a week). Full training and uniform provided.

This role is based on annualised hours, where the amount of hours you work each month may vary, however your salary will be paid in 12 equal instalments over the contract.

Start date: 1st March 2025, with training commencing week of 3rd March.
Interview dates: Week commencing 3rd February.
