Full Job Description
We're looking to appoint a two suitably qualified and experienced individuals to undertake the role of Operations Team Manager within the Responsive Repairs team.
We're looking for an experienced Operations Team Manager to join and support our Responsive Repairs team in managing an already excellent maintenance service, delivered to our customers in a way that that promotes high levels of customer focus, performance, safety, and quality, with a strong emphasis on innovation, forward thinking and continuous improvement. The successful applicant should have a thorough understanding of building and maintenance practices in a social housing environment. They must possess the relevant knowledge, skills, experience necessary to successfully manage a multi- disciplined team of in-house trade colleagues, supported by approved subcontractors to undertake repair and maintenance tasks in a fast moving and dynamic working environment. They must be dynamic, with a collaborative and engaging style, and possess strong customer service, people management and organisational skills. They should be highly organised, capable of working to tight deadlines, achieving KPIs and targets in accordance with budget constraints. A full UK driving licence is essential.
One Permanent role and one Fixed Term for 12 months + Salary - £47,535 per annum o £657 flexible pot (which can be used for salary top-up) # Location: Newburn or Greengates @ 37 Hours per week - Karbon car payment of £2,405 per annum (own car to be used) = Participation in the management of our out of hours service, which includes additional standby payments We recognise the contribution people with criminal records can make as colleagues and welcome applications.
