CitySport is the official venue for sport for our Clerkenwell and Moorgate campuses, and provides fitness, wellbeing, and sporting opportunities to students, staff and alumni, as well as students from other universities, local residents and corporate organisations.
The post holder will supervise and coordinate the day-to-day operations of CitySport, ensuring professional quality assurances are adhered to and health and safety standards met. Their primary workstreams include:
- Supervision of the Recreation Team
- Facilitating effective, safe building operations
- Tracking and reporting of incident and facility works
The post holder will also support with and organise programmes, initiatives, and events for university and public cohorts to increase sporting and physical activity levels.
The successful candidate will ideally have experience within the sport and leisure industry, managing staff and operations and/or implementing projects for bespoke user groups. An ability to interact with a number of audiences is important. They will also be expected to work in collaboration with internal and external partners.
