Full Job Description
We are looking for a supportive, dynamic forward thinking operational lead for our South Warwickshire adult community mental health services. You will operationally lead our Early Intervention, routine triage, CMHT, Clozapine and homeless services based in Leamington Spa, Warwick and Stratford upon Avon. Your base will be flexible as it is important that services have a visible leadership presence. You will be part of the senior leadership team for community mental health and will be expected to be part of trust wide developments as well as working with system partners. Experience of working in Community Mental Health is an essential criteria as well as management experience., You will work closely with other operational leads as well as the Head of Service for Warwickshire., See job description for full details. Alongside your operational role we are looking for somebody who will bring their own development ideas and be able to implement national directives into local service provision alongside the Head of Service and Team Managers. As the operational manager you will provide high quality supervision to our team managers and clinical leads. You will have oversight of safety and quality of services within South Warwickshire. The successful candidate must be organised and be able to balance competing demands including management of complex complaint and incident investigations, service developments and quality improvements.,
- Must demonstrate experience of leading/managing others
- Must demonstrate experience in contributing to policy, planning and service development
- Must demonstrate experience in dealing with HR issues such as recruitment and selection, performance management, sickness and annual leave
- Must have significant experience within Community Mental Health, Must be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills
- Must demonstrate established conflict management skills in a variety of environments e.g. one-to-one or groups where responses may be unpredictable
- Must show evidence of excellent presentation skills, both written and verbal, to audiences that could differ in number and knowledge, Must demonstrate evidence of successful completion of specialist postgraduate courses
- Must demonstrate evidence of formal/informal management and leadership training or management and leadership skills obtained through experience
- Must show evidence of ongoing attendance of short, study days, conferences and extended self-study Person Specification Experience Essential
