Full Job Description
Are you a friendly, motivated and pro-active dietitian looking for a new challenge? An exciting opportunity has become available for a Specialist Dietitian within United Lincolnshire Hospitals Trust. There are two posts available, one at Lincoln County Hospital and one at Pilgrim Hospital Boston. Further details regarding post location can be discussed at interview. The successful applicant will provide a service to inpatients and outpatients with a focus on more complex nutrition support across all wards. The successful applicant will be supported by the Band 7 Team Lead Dietitian., The service provides support to adult inpatients requiring complex nutrition support and the clinical caseload of the post-holder will include surgical and medical patients. You will have the opportunity to attend MDTs and best interest meetings, as well as working with the wider MDT to ensure high quality care for the patients. There is also scope to contribute to the provision of parenteral nutrition as part of the wider multidisciplinary team, on the completion of competency-based training. This role requires the ability to travel to all sites on request and external meeting locations on request.
This exciting role would be perfect for a dietitian with 12-18months' post-registration experience, who has experience of managing the dietetic treatment of patients with a range of conditions. The post would suit somebody who is able to effectively prioritise and manage a busy caseload and is now looking to take on more responsibility and gain experience in leadership and service development.
Pilgrim Hospital is situated beautiful countryside and serves the communities in the South Lincolnshire area. It provides all major specialties and a 24-hour major accident and emergency service.
Grantham and District Hospital serves the communities of Grantham and the local area. It provides ambulatory paediatric and accident and emergency services.
Lincoln Hospital is a thriving university city and with the opening of the medical school, it provides all major specialties and a 24-hour major accident and emergency service
