Nurse with NMP

We are seeking to recruit a Senior Nurse with NMP who will deliver specialist support and prescribing interventions to our patients accessing treatment at Achieve., The successful candidate will also provide a range of clinical interventions, detoxification interventions, blood borne virus screening, vaccinations, administering long-acting injectable opiate medications, also carrying out a range of physical health investigations.

Education/ Qualification Essential

• Registered Nurse
• Registered Non Medical Prescriber.

• Additional qualification relevant to addictions
Experience Essential
• Experience of leading on a piece of work that has contributed to effective service delivery
Desirable
• Experience of providing clinical interventions in drug and alcohol services
• Experience of prescribing in drug and alcohol services
Knowledge Essential
• Knowledge of the physical, psychological and social effects of substance misuse
• Understanding of key issues in drug and alcohol services

• knowledge of opiate and alcohol detoxification interventions in the community
