Are you an experienced midwife with a passion for supporting women through complex pregnancies?
We are looking for a compassionate and experienced midwife to join our team to provide specialist care, counselling, and support within our fetal medicine service.

This is an exciting opportunity to work within a multidisciplinary fetal medicine unit. If you are passionate about high-quality, empathetic care and want to specialise in fetal medicine, we would love to hear from you., This is an exciting opportunity for a Band 6 midwife looking to develop their knowledge and counselling skills within a small team supporting women to make informed choices about their care.
The successful candidate will be supporting a consultant led outpatient area which provides specialist fetal medicine clinics to women within the Cambridge locality as well as women from other hospitals in the region that are referred to the tertiary service.
You will gain specific skills including the interpretation of high chance screening results and the ability to then disseminate this information to the women alongside their further options. You will act as a chaperone in the clinic and gain skills in supporting the consultants with data input and invasive procedures., Key Responsibilities:o Provide specialist midwifery care in fetal medicine clinicso Support women undergoing advanced screening and diagnostic procedureso Offer sensitive counselling and emotional supporto Work collaboratively with obstetricians, sonographers, and genetic teamso Contribute to service development and clinical excellence
Requirements:o Registered Midwife with current professional registrationo Experience in antenatal or high-risk pregnancy careo Excellent communication and counselling skillso Commitment to compassionate, patient-centred care
