Mechanical Bias NVQ level 3 Qualified Maintenance Engineers - Are you ready to become multi-skilled? Are you a mechanically biased maintenance engineer working on process, production, or packaging machinery within FMCG or manufacturing?,

• Maintain and repair process and packaging machinery
• Carry out planned and reactive mechanical maintenance
• Support fault-finding across mechanical & developing electrical elements
• Contribute to plant improvements, reliability, and automation upgrades
• Work on high-speed, automated FMCG production lines

This role is ONLY suitable for: Mechanically trained engineers. Candidates genuinely interested in electrical upskilling and development Not suitable for:
• Fully electrical engineers already qualified
• Mechanical engineers with no interest in electrical development, Candidates who are a Mechanical Engineer, Multi-skilled Engineer, Maintenance Engineer, Plant Mechanic, may be suitable for this role.
  
  Transition from mechanical to multi-skilled
• Gain electrical competence and qualifications

• Be part of a £MM CAPEX investment and automation expansion project
You will join a global FMCG manufacturer operating a world-class, highly automated site, maintaining high-speed process and packaging machinery producing household consumer brands. What We're Looking For (Essential) We are specifically targeting: Mechanically biased engineers with:
• Apprenticeship (Mechanical) OR
• NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Maintenance / Engineering
Backgrounds considered:
• Manufacturing - including automotive, aerospace and process chemicals etc
• Food & beverage/packaging - the sweet spot
• Pharmaceutical/process industries
• Or any mechanical maintenance environment (open to all trades)
Exposure to the following is highly beneficial:
• Conveyors, motors, gearboxes, belts
• Packaging machinery/process equipment
• Basic exposure to sensors, relays, or electrical fault-finding
