Marine Superintendent - LPG (Hybrid, London)We are working with a highly reputable global ship owner / operator to appoint a Marine Superintendent to join their London-based operations team.This is an excellent opportunity for a Master Mariner, Chief Officer or existing Marine Superintendent with LPG experience looking to take the next step in a hybrid working environment within a well-established and internationally recognised organisation. The RoleReporting to the General Manager, you will take responsibility for the safe and efficient marine operations of a fleet of LPG vessels.This is a dynamic, hands-on operational role offering a balance of office-based collaboration, hybrid flexibility, and occasional international travel. Key ResponsibilitiesOversee the safe navigation, cargo and ballast operations of assigned vesselsProvide operational support and guidance to Masters and onboard teamsReview cargo plans, passage planning, and operational proceduresMonitor vessel performance and ensure compliance with international regulations (SOLAS, MARPOL, ISM, IGC)Act as a key point of contact for charterers and internal commercial teamsAttend vessels globally to support operations, inspections, and auditsSupport and respond to vetting inspections including SIRE and CDIParticipate in incident investigations and drive continuous improvementWork closely with technical, crewing, and HSEQ teams
About YouMaster Mariner (Unlimited) or Chief Officer with a valid Certificate of CompetencyStrong experience onboard LPG carriers (senior rank preferred)Previous shore-based experience in a marine / operations role is advantageousSolid understanding of gas carrier operations and cargo handling systemsFamiliar with industry regulations and vetting processes (SIRE/CDI)Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environmentWillingness to travel internationally when required
