Lunchtime Supervisory Assistant

We are seeking a caring and enthusiastic Lunchtime Supervisory Assistant to help create a positive, safe and enjoyable lunchtime experience for all pupils. You will supervise children across dining areas, playgrounds and indoor spaces, support safe and active play, promote positive behaviour, and help maintain a welcoming environment that reflects our school values.

Our Supervisory Assistants play an essential part in realising the visions and values of our school. Lunchtimes offer children valuable opportunities to eat, socialise and enjoy freely chosen play in supportive and enriched environments. These experiences are central to pupils' wellbeing, development and overall school enjoyment.

In this role, you will make a meaningful contribution to the school and the care and wellbeing of our children. By fostering happy, sociable and playful lunchtimes, you will help create a positive part of the day where pupils feel supported, included and safe.

Salary: Grade C, SCP 4 (£25,185 per annum, pro rata)
Hours: 5 Hours and 50 Minutes per Week, Permanent Contract, Term Time Only (38 Weeks per Year)

St. Michael's Catholic Primary School is a welcoming, single form entry school from Reception to Year 6. Our school is a wonderful, modern building located in a quiet residential area of Houghton-le-Spring with our beautiful parish church located directly opposite.
