Locum Fixed Term Consultant Paediatrician

The post is allocated 10 programmed activities which will comprise of 8.5 PA direct clinical care (DCC) and 1.5 PA for supporting professional activities (SPA)

• Ability to develop and adopt speciality interest in Asthma and Respiratory medicine with support of the Respiratory MDT
• Ability to take full and independent responsibility for the clinical care of patients
• Ability to offer expert clinical opinion on range of problems both emergency and elective within specialty
• Experience and understanding of and ability to use evidence base and clinical audit to support decision making
• IT and data interpretation skills
• Align with UHB Trust values and have up to date knowledge of the structure and processes of the NHS
• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team and develop effective working relationships with all levels of staff.
• Ability to support, mentor and contribute to supervision and development of undergraduate and postgraduate resident doctors in training
