Library Reading Champion

As our Library Reading Champion, you'll be at the heart of our mission to ignite a love of reading across the Academy. You'll manage our impressive library facility, curate exciting resources, and lead initiatives that make reading irresistible for students of all ages and abilities. What You'll Do

• Inspire: Promote a lifelong love of reading through creative events, book clubs, and themed activities.
• Lead: Manage the library space and resources, ensuring it's a dynamic, engaging environment.
• Collaborate: Work with teachers and staff to support learning and literacy development.
• Innovate: Use technology and creative ideas to make reading fun and accessible.
• Celebrate: Organise whole-school events like World Book Day and National Poetry Day.
  
  A strong belief in the power of literature to transform lives
• Excellent organisational and communication skills
• Creativity, enthusiasm, and a "can-do" attitude
• GCSEs in English and Maths (essential)
• Experience working with young people (desirable)
