Full Job Description

  • Teaching on a variety of modules, mainly on our undergraduate programme in Sports Journalism
  • The expertise to support students in using digital technologies and techniques to produce sports media content
  • Working with media companies, sports clubs and other relevant organisations, to help develop opportunities for students
  • Keeping our students up to date with contemporary research, trends and ethical challenges in journalism, the media and sport
  • Contributing to the research agenda of the School, in the context of the UK's Research Excellence Framework (REF).

    We're looking for an enthusiastic and inspirational lecturer with a proven record of accomplishment in professional sports journalism practice and experience of teaching in higher education.
