About the Role
We are seeking a motivated individual to deliver high-quality teaching across Engineering programmes at Levels 2 and 3. You will bring energy to the classroom, support learners from a variety of backgrounds, and contribute to the ongoing development of our curriculum.
- Delivering engaging teaching sessions and preparing relevant learning materials
- Marking and assessing student work
- Supporting learners with guidance, feedback and pastoral care
- Working with awarding bodies and assisting with exam processes
- Collaborating with colleagues across curriculum areas
- Maintaining accurate documentation such as registers, schemes of work and reports
What We're Looking For
- A minimum Level 3 qualification in a relevant Engineering discipline
- A teaching qualification (PGCE/Cert Ed) or willingness to work towards one
- Strong mathematical knowledge and the ability to apply it within Engineering contexts
- Up-to-date industry knowledge and a commitment to ongoing professional development
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Confidence in using a range of teaching methods and creating high-quality learning resources
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to meet deadlines
- Good IT skills, ideally including Microsoft Office and Google applications
- Competence in CAD/CAM
- Welsh language skills (desirable)
