Summary
Are you passionate about enhancing young people's careers? The School of Care and Science are looking for a lecturer who will inspire our learners to achieve their full potential during their time at the Luton campus.
The right candidate will plan, deliver, and assess across levels 1, 2 & 3 Heath and Social Care, as well as launch our new and exciting T level in Health-Adult Nursing courses.
This opportunity exists for an individual who wants to work in a stimulating and challenging environment, to inspire our students to achieve their best. We would be particularly interested to hear from anyone who has a background in Adult Nursing, Health care and/or Anatomy & Physiology. You will ideally have experience working with young people or apprentices either in a college or an educational setting, however, more important is an inspirational and motivational approach that will inspire our learners.
The candidate will be responsible for delivering skills and knowledge to high standards. This will be achieved by preparing resources, delivering lessons, marking student work, and supporting students with their whole programme of study.
We are seeking an industry specialist to teach and embed essential skills. Learners will complete invaluable work experience placements as part of their study programme, which will launch them into a career in the health and social care sector with skills and experiences that align with their chosen career path.
Applicants should have a minimum of Level 3 in Health & Social Care or an equivalent course, and relevant vocational experience. A teaching qualification would be advantageous; however, we would offer full teacher training to the successful candidate.
This role is based at our Luton campus, and we have flexibility for this role to be part-time, full-time or hourly paid. The closing date for applications is Sunday 7th June 2026.
You'll have the full support of a dynamic team and opportunities to bring your ideas to the role. Training and development are at the heart of everything we do so you'll be encouraged to upskill.
You can access a wide range of discounts and benefits including a cycle to work scheme, free on-site parking, pension, generous holiday scheme, time off at Christmas and early finishes on a Friday.
