An exciting opportunity has arisen for an academic post in the Department of Molecular & Biomedical Sciences. You will deliver teaching to undergraduate students across the School of Health and Medical Sciences (SHMS), primarily on the Biomedical Science and MBBS programmes, and to other UG or PG programmes as required. In addition, you will be expected to adopt a flexible approach to the development of scholarly, research and administrative activities to support the department.

  • A first degree and PhD in a subject area closely aligned to biomedical science

  • The ability to contribute to biomedical science education across SHMS

  • A commitment to excellence in undergraduate education

  • A strong collegiate approach to work

  • An ability to integrate with scholarly/research activities within the school

  • Familiarity with the UK higher education sector
