Full Job Description
- Administer medication and monitor health conditions in accordance with care plans
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Support Workers to provide high-quality, person-centred care for a male client with complex needs. Due to the nature of the role, which includes providing personal and intimate care, this position is open to female applicants only. This is in accordance with the Equality Act 2010, Schedule 9, Part 1, relating to genuine occupational requirements. The service user has complex care needs, and experience inlearning disabilites, autism and challenging behaviour will be needed. The ideal candidate will have a genuine desire to improve the quality of life for those in their care, demonstrating patience, empathy, and professionalism. This paid position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference while developing valuable skills in Complex Care and more. You will be working on a full-time rota which will be given to you 3 months in advance, and you will be paid weekly., - Previous experience in Complex Care is essential
- Knowledge of patient care practices, including medication administration and behaviour management
- At least 6 months Complex UK care experience
- Valid driving licence is preferred for this role involving transportation responsibilities
- Autism, Challenging behaviour experience is ESSENTIAL
