Based in Birmingham, Redditch and Edgbaston, we specialise in providing excellent education and support to learners with diverse and additional needs. We offer full-time Study Programmes that provide individualised learning experiences, whilst developing learner's key employability and supported living skills. We first opened our doors in 2014 with 10 learners and 3 staff. Since then, we have successfully grown the college to what it is today, with 160 students and 97 staff. We are an Ofsted rated 'Good' college and I am now looking for a Learning Coach to join my team in Redditch and contribute towards our commitment to deliver a person-centred, innovative, and practical education that equips our students with the essential academic, vocational, and life skills needed to transition successfully into adulthood.

Working as part of our dynamic Teaching & Learning team, you will play a vital role in supporting learners both in college and in real-world environments. You will work alongside tutors in the classroom and beyond, delivering tailored support, creating engaging learning experiences, and helping learners build confidence, independence, and essential life skills.

We have made it our mission to provide an inspirational learning environment for person centred vocational education in a community-based setting, enabling learners to achieve exceptional outcomes. Our vision is to empower our learners to prepare themselves for the next stage of their adult lives by providing them with transferable skills that enable them to become purposeful independent individuals and to find their place in their community.

Note: This is a term time only role, you will be required to work during term time only, taking all college holidays. The salary range stated above is a pro-rata salary that already takes this into account, and the £ range stated is therefore the actual salary range for this position, with no further pro-rata reductions to be applied for term time only working. We are also currently operating a pilot 4-day wee (subject to review and not a contractual entitlement), meaning all staff enjoy a 3-day weekend Friday - Sunday, every week., Alongside a competitive benefits package, including a generous pension scheme and flexible working opportunities, we offer enhanced maternity and paternity pay, a healthcare cashback plan, access to confidential counselling, occupational health support, and on-site health checks to help you stay happy and healthy.

This is a term-time only position, giving you up to 16 weeks of holiday each year. We also offer an innovative 4-day week pilot - giving you 100% pay for 82% of hours. Full-time staff typically enjoy Fridays off, with flexibility for all staff to shape their working pattern within operational hours and pro-rata arrangements available for part-time colleagues.
