Full Job Description
We are looking to appoint a Lead Teaching Assistant, to work in the Primary and Secondary Department(mainly Primary at present). If successful you will lead a team of Teaching Assistants who are key in supporting both the learning and pastoral needs of our pupils, by deploying a range of coaching strategies and interventions at individual, group and whole class level. The successful candidate will:
- Directly line manage a team of Teaching Assistants, including performance management
- Arrange daily cover for all lessons, clubs and tuition
- Complete duty timetables
- Be responsible for the direction of Teaching assistants
- Establish good working relationships with pupils acting as a role model and setting high expectations
- Promote inclusion and acceptance of all
- Organise agency staff
- Attend Leadership meetings
