Full Job Description

· Preparing, delivering and tracking high quality interventions under the direction of the SENCO and teaching staff.

· Offer functional, literacy and numeracy skills in a range of settings including the classroom.

· Act as coordinator to other LSAs

· Monitor and track the effectiveness of interventions.

· Assist in training staff in the delivery of interventions., Shortlisted applicants may be screened prior to interview by checking social media sites. The purpose of such screening will be to ascertain whether a candidate demonstrates appropriate conduct, behaviour, and suitability for employment in a school environment.

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic Lead Learning Support Assistant who will enjoy working in a school that values and delivers excellent professional development. The successful candidate will be capable of inspiring students through their involvement with pastoral support and have a firm belief in the potential of all students.

You must be committed to providing a quality education and experience for all and will need to excel in your classroom practice., · Good literacy and numeracy skills supported by relevant qualifications.

· Confidence in dealing with a wide range of people.

· Understanding of child protection policies and procedures

· NVQ level 3 or equivalent qualification or experience.

Working in partnership with the SENCO and class teachers:

· To contribute to the school's teaching and learning programme

· To support the school in raising student aspirations, challenge student learning and engage students in their own learning
