Full Job Description

Supporting the Head Chef and Sous Chef in the day-to-day running of the kitchen
Assisting with the preparation and delivery of high-quality breakfast and lunch services
Contributing to menu development with fresh, healthy, and innovative ideas
Maintaining excellent food standards, presentation, and consistency
Supporting and motivating junior team members within the brigade
Ensuring all food safety, hygiene, and health & safety standards are met
Covering across both chef and kitchen porter duties when required
Managing stock rotation, deliveries, and minimising waste
Helping maintain a positive and efficient kitchen culture during high-volume service

We are looking for a motivated and ambitious Junior Sous Chef to join our busy staff dining operation. This site serves up to 1,300 customers onsite during peak midweek service and has a strong reputation for fresh, healthy, and innovative food offerings., Experience as a strong Chef de Partie or Junior Sous Chef
A genuine passion for food, with strong knowledge of modern, healthy, and innovative dishes
The ambition to progress and develop your culinary career
Flexibility to support different areas of the kitchen operation when needed
Good understanding of food hygiene and health & safety standards
Previous contract catering experience is essential
