Islamic Female Personal Assistant - NKYOR

This is a long-term, permanent role for the successful nomination. Availability begins at 4 hours a week and expected to increase. This includes weekends and bank holidays, also some evenings depending when travel and activities draw to a close, making a flexible approach to work and hours essential.

There is a genuine occupational requirement for the holder of this post to be male/female in accordance with the Health and Social Care Act 2008 (Regulated Activities) Regulations 2014 and Equality Act 2010 schedule 9 paragraphs 1 - 4.

I am looking for a high-calibre Islamic individual who is courteous and polite with high moral integrity and outstanding levels of hygiene who thoroughly understands the complexities of my condition coupled with the rigorous ritual purity central to my religious beliefs. You must be able to stride the hybridised role of Personal Assistant/Carer as some activities become overwhelming at which point I need a PA to step in and take the role of Carer to get the task at hand complete. As my Personal Assistant you will work under my direction to meet my needs in the personal and social spheres.

I need a support worker who can help me keep a clean and tidy home, assist in opening mail deliveries, and support me with tasks outside of the home (including grocery and essentials shopping) which will enable me to accomplish purposeful things despite my disabilities and enable me to live a full and fulfilling life. I am looking for someone who is kind, reliable, and supportive who can help me manage my emotional sentiments, encourage my independence, and ensure I am happy and comfortable at all times. It is important you the take time to become well acquainted with me to build a positive, trusting relationship walking in my company.

You will be joining me during a season of expansion and great change. To move forward and evolve I will shortly be moving into my first home where I will, for the first time, be wholly independent at which occasion your roles and responsibilities will change accordingly, augment in number, and become increasingly varied. Ultimately you must be willing to wear different hats in a range of roles and functions (including but not limited to helping me stay safe in the kitchen and help with hand-washing art textiles and delicate laundry items).

My condition makes driving and using public transport impossible so a motorcar driver and availability of vehicle are essential. You will accompany me to practical workshops for professional development, events and tradeshows, appointments, and leisure trips for mental wellbeing. As my condition is unpredictable, affects every facet of my life, and absorbs a good deal of time, needs and duties significantly vary and fundamentally change in a highly capricious manner so someone of a naturally positive temperament who can think on their feet with an aptitude for troubleshooting, able to remain calm working under pressure often to tight deadlines, and dependable to turn up when called at short notice is absolutely essential.

This is an exciting opportunity for a female who is culturally sensitive, hailing from an Islamic background, who ideally would be able to adopt the position of fellow traveller and companion.

No previous experience is necessary, however, as you become familiar you will learn the best way to work together., At the time of starting their employment, the successful candidate must have permission to work in the U.K.
