Full Job Description
The current opportunity is available for current Manchester Met students, to apply you must be based in the UK for the duration of the role. Manchester Met's International Office run webinars and events throughout the year designed for prospective international students to provide them with more information on the University and the application process, as well as key services and support available. The "Meet your faculty - student led live Q&A" will involve students representing their own faculty (Faculty of Business & Law / Faculty of Arts & Humanities / Faculty of Health and Education / Faculty of Science & Engineering) where they will discuss services provided by Faculty, such as facilities, events, etc - anything that involves enhancing the international student experience. You will also be asked to create a few slides highlighting your favourite things regarding the faculty you are a part of in, and will be elaborating on your points during the live webinar. In addition, there will be an opportunity for webinar attendees to participate in a Q&A. We would love to hear about your experience about studying in your faculty. As part of the live webinar on 26 & 27 November, we would like you to talk about your experience for around 5 minutes and answer any relevant questions that webinar attendees may have. We would also like you to have your camera on while you talk during the webinar. We will provide guidelines and suggestions for the topics you might want to cover and there will also be a briefing session where you can ask further questions. The webinar will be lead by a member of the International Office. BEFORE APPLYING, please see below for dates and times for sessions for each faculty.
